Hand & Wrist

What Causes Hand & Wrist Pain?

The hand and wrist are composed of many small bones as well as a delicate network of nerves, tendons and supporting structures that all work together to help you perform routine tasks on a daily basis. Pain in the hand or wrist can be caused by overuse, traumatic injuries, arthritis, or other diseases. Depending upon the severity of your condition, orthopedic care may be needed to avoid long-term complications. Your treatment may range from physical therapy to corticosteroid injections to surgery.
